A Congressman announced from the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday that some congressman were told that martial law may ensue if they don't vote for the bailout. This seems, at minimum, worth a serious investigation from someone.
What should trouble citizens of every political stripe is how no economist or financier seems to be able to predict or even properly characterize the financial problems the country is now facing.
